Saw him in Birmingham years ago. Superb. I was expecting a real assault on the ears; loud, yes, but quiet in relation to Phil Collins, who I saw in the exact same venue the following week. He was unbearably loud and I didn't enjoy that concert at all.

I saw him several times, the last however was poor, his voice had gone, I became a fan after seeing him on the old grey whistle test performing Paradise By The Dashboard Light https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NUcEVkfuZ9U I was in love with the girl, I think it was Karla DeVito although Ellen Foley had sung on the album
