Bristol riots

Post by bristleposh »

Every time there’s a riot it seems to be concentrated on Bristol. Protest causes riots, and those riots are always usurped by the same rent-a-mob gang of thugs, whether it is Climate Change, BLM, and now the new bill. We have a history of it going back to the St Paul’s thuggery of the eighties. I suppose the one good thing about the riots is that whilst these nutters are doing that they are not out and about raping and killing women. At the first signs of trouble the authorities should bring out water cannons and give them a taste of what it’s like to be on the receiving end of some violent treatment.

Everyone found guilty should be heavily fined, all Benefits stopped and Pensions reduced. Maybe, just maybe they might then think twice before joining in.

Although the 'protest' got out of hand, the sentiments behind it are more than well-founded.

Having a society where you cannot protest at all is a recipe for disaster. Do we just sit back & accept everything a government throws at us? Isn't that a dictatorship?

Isn’t what is happening called anarchy, the dictatorship was voted for by the majority of the population. These anarchists are a minority this is why Labour even under a right wing leader like Starmer are unelectable

But you've been happy for this Govt to lock everyone up for a year because you're scared of a (non)deadly virus? We're already in a Dictatorship at the whim of one unelected man, Chris Whitty.

Twaddle. There is a difference between a peaceful protest where protesters wear masks and socially distance as per the rules and one where social distancing does not exist and violence against the police, buildings and vehicle takes place,
