I find it surprising that you're so against Lewis Hamilton Bristle??? He looks after himself financially & doesn't break any laws (maybe apart from that plane scam on the Isle of Man). He works hard & deserves every penny he makes!!! Sounds like you're jealous & bitter!!

Not at all a bloke last night got £500,000 for throwing a few darts, but then he’ll pay tax on it

Re: Brexodus
So you're suddenly against tax avoidance?? For what it's worth, I agree with you on Lewis Hamilton but you don't seem to be consistent when complaining about tax dodgers.bristleposh wrote: ↑04 Jan 2021, 15:01 Not at all a bloke last night got £500,000 for throwing a few darts, but then he’ll pay tax on it
In fact you constantly praise the biggest tax-dodging enterprise in the UK, the Conservative Party. The Tories have consistently failed to close tax avoidance loopholes as it's against the interests of the party members & donors. Why else do you think these tycoons & oligarchs bankroll the Conservatives?????
Not that long ago there was someone on here (can't remember who) that was claiming Richard Branson is one of the greatest people alive. Just look at what he's given & taken from the taxman and you'll understand why he's a Tory. Glorious privatisation & free enterprise, coupled with tax avoidance on a mass scale when things are going well. But running to the state for handouts when he starts to lose a few quid. The taxpayer gets the WORST of both worlds, but it keeps being allowed to happen when you have a Government controlled by people who protect their own interests first.
Re: Brexodus
Branson claimed he voted for Labour at the last Election and was 100% against coming out from the EU.

Re: Brexodus
Was that the same Branson who stitched up Corbyn while travelling on his Virgin trains??? It's not like he doesn't have a motive though, Corbyn's plan was to renationalise the railways which would stop him taking hundreds of millions in subsidies every year, thus spelling the death of his lucrative train empire!
If he voted for Corbyn, why would he have behaved in this manner???

Oh the irony of the likes of Roger Daltrey complaining about Brexit & having to get Visa's to tour across Europe from now on.
He was shouting from the roof tops that we need to get out of the EU & make our own rules.
Tough sh*t Roger - you can't have your cake and eat it.
It's just the beginning.... bring it on!

I wonder if the fishermen are still cheering Brexit???? They have been used a pawn in the Brexiteers game, and now they seem surprised that things have gone belly up.

Johnson is so lucky we have coronovirus to deflect from the disaster of Brexit.
Amazon now stopping all alcohol deliveries to N Ireland with many more products to follow. Growing unrest across the Irish Sea at this disaster.
Now, growing tensions between Britain & the EU over vaccine distribution.
We have backed our way into a desperate corner.

There were always going to be some losers, people who have only just realized this were sadly disillusioned or simply remoaners.

"Some losers" - why the hell should there be 'losers'? It was supposed to be for the benefit of all. That's how it was sold.bristleposh wrote: ↑27 Jan 2021, 23:29 There were always going to be some losers, people who have only just realized this were sadly disillusioned or simply remoaners.
Problem is, apart from people already retired and safe with their pension funds, plus the elite, who it won't affect either way, I can't think of anybody else who is better off outside the EU.
Can you help me out & give some examples of every day folk who are now in a much better position - and why?
