What decisions can we make that will make such a difference?

I've wondered this myself, what are these decisions that we can now make? I'm concerned that we've now lost our protection against workers rights such as paid annual leave. The EU laws have protected us & with the UK keen to regain some sort of competitive advantage, a "flexible" workforce could new their incentive for inward investment.

Why should this be? In 2019, the richest 26 people had the same wealth as 50% of earth's population combined (3.65 billion people).

I don't quite understand why the rich "should" get richer if there are people starving, yet others have obscene amounts. I'd like to hear your rationale though.

Simple really they have earned it by coming up with ideas, ie Facebook, Amazon, Twitter, Virgin, AliBaba, Google, eBay, etc, or are they expected to not earn anything for their work, they should just simply give it all to Rashford so he could spend it on school meals.

And the owners of these companies are all already billionaires with wealth beyond their wildest dreams already, while often paying less tax than your local independent shop.

They couldn't create their wealth without the their hard-working workforces either. But you want to see more & more people struggle to survive, while the Billionaires become Trillionaires??

That is sometimes true but not always. I'm sure the Indian slaves working 100 hour weeks on construction sites for just enough money to survive would disagree though.

Society is extremely interdependent & the Covid crisis has highlighted how important the everyday workers are. Whilst stockbrokers & insurance salesmen were absolutely useless, they had to rely on those doing the important jobs in order to keep the country ticking.

He was awarded the knighthood because he has won just about every title and record there is in Formula One. The 35-year-old this year became the most successful F1 driver of all time. The sport's only black driver, who grew up in social housing as the grandson of immigrants from the Caribbean, Sir Lewis has also used his profile to campaign for diversity and speak out against racial injustice.
