They have the right, but really should take a good hard look at the evidence, not taking it not only endangers themselves but their loved ones and others close to them.
I've used that argument with the residents here who are refusing to get vaccinated.
One of the replies is that if everybody except them get the jab then they are not endangering anybody except themselves.
This was discussed again today with a group of residents.
It's hard to believe that some people can be so selfish.
If everybody takes that attitude there will be many thinking they are only endangering themselves, and are therefore endangering all of those.

Do you want the same for the flu jab and any other transmissible disease you can get vaccinated against and how long do these ‘papers’ last, do we have to get jabbed every 6 months and show ‘evidence’?

People have a right in a free country NOT to receive a vaccine if they don’t want one. I’m getting jabbed only so I can watch Northamptonshire and England play Cricket again but will boycott ALL businesses that make it a requirement to show ‘papers’ to gain entry.

This pandemic has been so much more different to many other diseases. It has been called a 'pandemic' because that is just what it is.
A pandemic is defined as “an epidemic occurring worldwide, or over a very wide area, crossing international boundaries and usually affecting a large number of people.”
It therefore needs to be treated in a different manner to oher complaints. Once everyone who wants the vaccine has been catered for and the huge numbers of deaths slowed right down to 'normal' levels I think that re-vaccination will become the norm for those wanting to be ultra cautious. The more that people refuse an initial vaccination then the longer that subsequent jabs will be required for the cautious ones in life.
The other very worrying result of this disease is the now becoming well documented problems with 'Long covid' which has affected some of those who have had it severely and also some who have had very little problems with the initial disease. Check The Health Foundation's take on this.

1) Northamptonshire Cricket Club are a business.
2) Why will you boycott these businesses? (With the exception of Northamptonshire Cricket Club).

I don't see why you have an issue with businesses who are looking out for their customers' safety. Anyway, with your bizarre outlook, I doubt you'll be missed in any of these places anyway!!

Customer's safety? You mean the pubs that ply people with beer until they can't stand up and then kick them out at 11pm to stumble home whilst peeing in the street and fighting.

And Northamptonshire CCC aren't making it a requirement to show papers for entry it's ProjectFear.

Another balls up by letting all these Indian folk in & failing to put it in the red zone! I can't fathom why they ignored advice & reacted so late. Feels like it's 2 steps forward, 1 step back.

Over 80 years ago, in Greece, sixty thousand Jews lived peacefully in Thessaloniki.
On April 6, 1941, Hitler invaded Greece in order to secure its southern front before launching the famous Operation Barbarossa and its great offensive against Russia. Of the 60,000 Jews in
Thessaloniki, around 50,000 were exterminated at the Birkenau concentration camp, in record time!
The massacre of the Jews of Greece was brief but intense. Very few had the chance to make it. But among the survivors there was a family known as Bourla. And after the war, in 1961, a son was born into this family in the camps. His parents called him Israel Abraham.
Abraham studied veterinary medicine in Greece. A brilliant student, he achieved his doctorate in reproductive biotechnology at the veterinary school of Aristotle University in Salonika.
At the age of 34, he decided to move to the United States. He changed his first name Abraham, to Albert.
Albert joined a pharmaceutical company where he became Head manager.
He rose through the ranks and got his appointment as CEO of this company in 2019.
Throughout the year Albert decided to direct the efforts of the company to try to find a vaccine against a new virus (Covid) which had just struck the world.
A year later the WHO (World Health Organization) validated his company to produce the long-awaited vaccine.
Ironically, this vaccine which will save the lives of millions of people around the world including many Germans, was led and pushed by a little Jew from Thessaloniki, son of Holocaust survivors from whom most of his people were exterminated by Nazi Germany.
Some say that is why Israel became the first country to receive the vaccine.
In memory of his grandparents and his parents, who gave birth to Israel-Abraham Bourla, known today as Albert Bourla: CEO of Pfizer.

According to many reports, it was due to desperately trying to do a trade deal with India. Funny how we closed Pakistan & Bangladesh borders days earlier even though their infection rates were well below those of India.

Brexit - the gift that keeps on giving.

Don't agree with your politics or your views on Brexit, however you are bang-on with this. We've put a trade deal ahead of public safety and that to me is scandalous. Public health spokesman yesterday said they fully expect to see cases rise in other cities here with a large Indian community

I can picture myself riding along on a moped with my wife on the pillion and a huge cylinder of oxygen perched precariously between us.

So if cases in Bolton & Blackburn are out of control and rising sharply that must mean the rest of the country is infection free as it's ben steady around 2,500 a day during the week and 2,000 on weekends for a while now yet Johnson & all the 'experts' are ramping up ProjectFear again despite vaccinating 37 million people!

Lies, lies and more lies from ProjectFear HQ at number 10

Looking at the latest map, it seems the Indian variant is spreading across the whole country.

So pleased we've got a government who have learnt from past mistakes and closed the borders quickl...... oh
