England's greatest ever goal scorer. (Tottenham 116 goals in 152 appearances, Chelsea 10 in 17, AC Milan 9 in 13, and England 44 in 57. We are unlikely to ever see stats like that again.)
Lovely congenial man who lost his mate Ian St. John just this last March.
Saint and Greavsie kept the nation entertained 1985 to 1992. "It's a funny old game!"

RIP Jimmy.

R.I.P.Jimmy Greaves, a unique goal scorer, the very best of his era.
