I'd love to know what sell on clause we have for Toney. Surely at least 25%?

What a signing he was.

Yep, fair play to Darragh, he can certainly spot a player.

Nice try.

Great signing from Big Steve.

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing.
The bulk of his football experience came with Peterborough (100 games/11 goals/nine assists) and Rochdale (85 games/20 goals/19 assists) before moving from the Dale on a free transfer to Cardiff in 2017.

Before being sacked by the Bluebirds, Mendez-Laing featured in 92 games for the Welsh side, scoring 14 goals and adding 11 assists.

This level of output would seem to suggest that the winger would be a good signing for Wayne Rooney’s Derby County side.

Ivan Toney scored his 25th Championship goal of the season as second-placed Brentford fought back to beat Stoke and move within four points of leaders Norwich.

... and somewhere, buried in this newspaper report, news of Marcus Maddison. How the mighty are fallen. Such a shame for a very talented individual.

'There is also an option in Marcus Maddison’s deal but the 27-year-old is finished at The Valley – failing to grasp the lifeline handed to him by Bowyer, pictured inset, after he left Hull City. Maddison was loaned to League Two Bolton Wanderers in January.'

If somebody had predicted 2yrs ago that MM would not even be a regular starter in league 2, I'd have laughed at them. It's so, so sad, and still only 27.

Not past player, but past manager.

I know he's not popular, BUT what a job Steve Evans is doing at Gillingham.

Red hot favourites to go down at the start of the season, now on the brink of the play-offs.

I doubt any other League One manager would have achieved that with such a small club on such a small budget.

Nothing to do with a childish 'fan club' - it's just a fact.

Conor Washington
Charlton 0-1 Posh
Looking to extend their unbeaten run to 11 games, Charlton pushed for a late equaliser, and sent on the returning Conor Washington as a substitute. To no avail!
