Harsh. It was a shame as he definitely showed he had good skills but unfortunately he couldn't be fitted into the way we played.

It would easily have worked out if McCan't had given him a chance, like most managers these days it seems they can only 'work' with the players they've had before or signed themselves. The only benefit I can see to signing Thompson & selling Grant is the club gets some ££s through the door. The same applies to the two 13 year old goalkeepers we've got rather than a Golden Gloves & promotion winner we've got on the books.
