Looks to be deteriorating very rapidly. It's not as if we have had loads of snow and lots of overnight frosts. There is still time for these and it could end up similar to what it was last year.

We've not had any rain either.
True but we do have sprinklers now, although that is nowhere as effective as a 'proper' rain!
