Playing Away

Post by JohnC »

Away from home, we’ve played for fifteen hours, and held a lead for 20 minutes. We’ve scored once every three hours, and average just over two shots on target per game – four in our last three games. One of our goals came from a penalty, one was headed in from a free kick, and one came after Marriott robbed a defender. In open play, we’ve passed our way to two goals, both against Hull. If not for a Hull missed penalty, we’d probably have a perfect ten consecutive defeats. Twenty-eight goals conceded.

Sounds like something is wrong, I wonder why the person who has been in charge for several hundred games hasn’t managed to find the solution.

What's even more baffling is that we purposely brought in a defensive coach to try and rectify this problem.
Another name on the wage list that needs to justify his worth.

Apparently the Chairman is going to eat his left foot if JC-H doesn't start ripping up the Championship now his ban is served! I've resisted the temptation to ask him if he wants Garlic Bread with that
