A 2-1 away win for the under 23s,, one or two of them look quite useful, the two central defenders both went off after about 70 minutes but looked the business Taylor and Fernandez I think. A lovely goal from Ishola, and the other two forward players looked quite tricky. Barker we know has talent, O’Connell put his penalty away superbly.

I wasn't able to watch it all due to work commitments but was impressed with the two central defenders (despite a couple of wobbly moments) and Kyle Barker along with O'Connell and the number 7 and 10...great win against a side unbeaten in 7 or so

Pegged back when down to ten men in added time 😥

Tomlinson sounds the dogs, get him back in that first team squad.

U23s v Everton

Post by bristleposh »

Superb win for the #pufc under 23s as @Everton are brushed aside 3-0 in the Premier League Cup thanks to a double from @KwamePoku23 and a first goal in Posh colours for @_jtaylor02_ - two wins from three in the group and one draw. Excellent start to the group.

Two trialists and a third as substitute, Poku and Tomlinson have earned the right to be on the first team squad at the very least

Well done to the U23s. Maybe a bit of pressure from these lads will get the first team to gee themselves up a bit!
