Sad to say we have lost another of the players that brought us screaming and kicking into the football league

R.I.P. Peter and thanks for that wonderful left foot.

My very first 'favourite player! RIP Peter and Robbie Cooke. The passing of Ernie Moss seems to have been forgotten!

R.I.P. Peter. A wonderful player who lit up London Road and many other grounds, particularly in Posh’s later years in the Midland League and in those wonderful days of the 1960s.

An absolute gent who I enjoyed talking with about all things Posh when I worked with him in Barclays in Church Street.

Three former great players have now left us recently, and I too find it strange that Ernie Moss is not being remembered with Peter and Robbie.

I hope Peter is enjoying the great golf course in the sky.

Ernie Moss was certainly remembered on here when he passed away from a handful of posters.
ALL three were a big part of my early Posh support.
