FULL-TIME | @BedfordTown 0-8 @theposhofficial - two apiece for @BurrowsHarrison, @Eisaar7 and @JorgeGrant18 with @RickyJade and Nathan Thompson also on target. #BEDPET

Does anyone know who the black player was on the Posh bench at Bedford this afternoon. He resembled Darren Bent.

I don’t know but I would imagine it was one of our youth team players, Mensah perhaps

I understand he still lives locally between Ramsey and Huntingdon.

His name is Emmanuel Fernandez.

Strange that? Fernandez is 6ft 5in and the following details come from the official club report of the game. So it looks as though he got his first assist too!

"Posh made it 3-0 on the quarter hour mark as a long ball forward from Fernandes was allowed to bounce by the Bedford centre back who then didn’t get enough on his back header allowing Ricky-Jade JONES to nip in and fire into the gaping net with his left-foot."

"Posh 1st half: Pym, Thompson, Fernandes, Knight, Butler, Kanu, Edwards, Grant, Szmodics, Broom, Jones."

Blimmin’ awesome to be back. Disappointing number of fans for both teams. Maybe everyone was pacing themselves for tonight.
We go again...
