It's a pity we couldn't hang onto Ben White when he was with us!

I thought Knight looked the better player for us.

That isn't to say White hasn't played really well since because he has.

Glad we've signed someone, but it's a big jump for him to the Championship.
I feel we need experience and not rookies if we are going to at least try and stay in this division.

We should be signing multi million pound players like Fulham or loan players from the premiership like Danny Rose.

It's all a bit underwhelming isn't it? From the injury prone to the failed at championship level to the speculative punts on young 'uns, it's quite hard to get excited. More than happy to be wrong on all fronts but, given the fear of heights we have seen before at this level, I was expecting some solid championship level signings...we made money from Toney, Flynn Clarke, apparently the Ben White to Arsenal move and will do the kid going to West Ham...meanwhile, looks like we have signed Dembele's replacement and JCH hasn't kicked a ball since Lincoln...I hope Fergie etc know what they're doing aside from making a profit for the owners....

Great Post and I agree with everything you say. Its great that we are back in the championship, but I fear we havnt learn our lessons from last time we were there.
It's a massive jump from Div 1 to where we are now and as much as I want us to succeed, I feel we are not sufficiently equipped to cope and compete with most of our counterparts.
We only have two players in our squad with championship experience and I fear this will be our downfall over what will be an extremely challenging season.
