Chrissy Pym signs, excellent news
 :clap2:
Thoroughly deserves a new three year deal. He was one of the many stars of last year's promotion team! Congratulations Christy!

Hmmm.

Hope we're signing another keeper too.

Do behave, I thought you kept telling us how much more knowledgeable than us you were, we have a great goalkeeper, if we get someone who is willing to sit on the bench week in week out then that is what we probably need to get but sitting on the bench can quite adequately be done by Blackmore. A saving of money when there are far more pressing areas that need to be filled.

I hope this doesn't lead to Posh paying him to leave in a year or two's time.

At his age why couldn't he run down his contract?

I assume you mean why couldn't Posh run down his contract rather than the player himself? I'd imagine a 3 year deal for a 31 year old player in Covid times is a godsend for him & his family as it means he's got security plus there was probably clause in his original contract regarding promotion anyway

Hmmm. Not over impressed by a three year deal. He was too slow at 31 in League One. What on earth is he going to be like at 33/34 in the Championship?

?Maybe they are lining him up for a future coaching position? He is vastly experienced, having already played getting on towards 600 appearances, all nothing other than the Championship or League One?

You forget Gaz knows more about football than the rest of us, obviously he’d have thought of that

Oops! Schoolboy mistake! He knows more than you, myself, Darren Ferguson, Darragh MacAnthony, Barry Fry and all the coaches at PUFC. :)

Well, that's Pym cemented his place for the season.
