Tonight's games (27th April)

Post by tonyp »

Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere but it looks as though all of the other League 1 games tonight star at 7:00pm. Posh v Doncaster starts at 7:45pm. Which means that soon after half time we should know how close we are to automatic promotion.
Fingers crossed!

I'm glad we won't have to face long-term injury victim Jon Taylor tonight
I hope that PUFC will find a way of tipping its collective hat to James Coppinger tonight. It's a name with which our manager will be familiar (and I suspect it still resonates down at Griffin Park.)
Seventeen seasons six hundred and seven appearances for Doncaster. (696 total senior appearances, I believe; Doncaster have four games to play....)

Lincoln are ahead at Shrewsbury.
Their fans must be hoping for a miracle tonight.

If the scores stay the same as they are now Lincoln can't catch us.
Now we can start thinking about number one spot.

Half time 2-1 and Sunderland are losing at home to Blackpool. Lincoln are still 1-0 up but if we don't get over confident we should win easilly.

Lincoln won, Sunderland lost. So only Lincoln can catch us now but not if we win tonight.
Get ready to celebrate!
