This was always going to be a "must win" game. We don't want to see Steve Evans beat Fergie.
But now it is even more of a must win. We have to keep winning to ensure automatic promotion.
We do not want to end up in the play-offs.

Come on, Gillingham are not going to beat Posh, we have a bloke on the bench who cost more than Gillingham's squad...this one will be a stroll in the park

Just because we've spent a few quid, doesn't mean we have a divine right to success. We've earned promotion - the same way we earned a playoff place last year - but anyone who thinks money equals automatic success needs to give their heads a wobble. Even if we do have some posters who think we've got a right to stroll this division.

There's money and there's real money. In the midst of a pandemic, we sold Toney for millions, reinvested in Szmodics, JCH (and Taylor just before) and this whilst all other clubs in our division struggled for survival....Man City don't come 7th right now....We've done well but, we were expected to win the league

I don’t think we were when the league contains, Hull, Ipswich, Portsmouth, Charlton & Comically Deluded FC from the North East.

The majority of our players have never played in the championship before and Pym, Butler, Kent, Ward, Taylor & Dembele were signed from lower leagues and make up over half of our starting XI.

Man City & Chelsea aren’t in the CL SFs by signing players from the Championship, Serie B, Bundesliga 2 & Segunda Division.

I don't really think we'll win 5-0 any more than Bristle really thinks we'll lose 0-2.
As a matter of fact I think it will be a fairly close game with us winning 2-1 or 3-2.
As long as we get 3 points I'll be happy.

Gillingham travel to us on shorter rest, with their play-off hopes all but extinguished after a demoralising loss at MK, where they gave up a two-goal second half lead and a 93rd minute winner -- the sort of meltdown we narrowly avoided at Rochdale. It's hard to imagine they'll have much of a spring in their collective step on Tuesday.

Steve Evans on Tuesday's game:
'We are not in the mix any more, we are done, we will go and try and represent the club with some real pride on Tuesday and try and take on a team that are absolutely outstanding.'

Most of us will agree with that but Steve Evans won't. He'll make it really tough for us.

Well that’s a great start. Gillingham in front after 15 minutes.
