Re: Posh v Accrington
First game I have been unable to watch this season due to some iFollow issue and we are 6-0 up....bloody typical...well done Mo Eisa!!!!
Re: Posh v Accrington
7-0 and Kanu on the score sheet -- strange times

Re: Posh v Accrington
And I predicted only 5-0. Typical.
Re: Posh v Accrington
Well that is a brilliant statement....we may have been playing Accrington reserves but a 7-0 win is truly excellent...and, Steve Evans continues to perform miracles at Gillingham and that draw at Hull puts promotion fully in our hands....great day only spoiled by the fact I couldnt see it and could only listen to commentary
Well done Posh, we needed that!!!

That’s more like it. We should be p*sing this league but at least it’s back in our hands

7 goals, exactly what the lads need ! Big confidence boost
Re: Posh v Accrington
Are you’re superstitious. Perhaps you shouldn’t watch any more matches this season?stumpy wrote: ↑27 Mar 2021, 17:59 Well that is a brilliant statement....we may have been playing Accrington reserves but a 7-0 win is truly excellent...and, Steve Evans continues to perform miracles at Gillingham and that draw at Hull puts promotion fully in our hands....great day only spoiled by the fact I couldnt see it and could only listen to commentary

Super performance. Fergie got it badly wrong against Blackpool but got it spot on today.
4-4-2 is the way to go.

Excellent from front to back, stand out performers for me were Ward, JCH, Szmodics and Burrows

Re: Posh v Accrington
Great to see Harrison Burrows getting a start and in a wide role rather than a replacement number 10!
let's see the 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 played more often, especially in home games.
That way, maybe Kanu can come on as cover for Ward, because he certainly isn't a defender,
Good to see Szmodics, Ward and Clarke-Harris playing more to their potential than hiding.
And where did that combination of Reed and Brown come from?

Stand out performer for me was JCH.
Who would have predicted he would get a hat trick?

Re: Posh v Accrington
Accrington not in it, way outclassed. Posh showed a different attitude to their recent past, passed forwards and Szmodics was brilliant for 90 minutes. Must plough on now to the end of the Season. Well played everybody.

By the way, Accrington fans won't be happy with Posh. We also gave them a hiding on 15th January 2008.
Posh 8-2 Accrington.

Re: Posh v Accrington
Is that the first game this season where we have dominated both halves of a match?
