Darren Ferguson
Aberdeen fan in peace.
Your manager is being quoted as second favourite at Skybet to become our new manager.
Frankly I don't believe he will leave you guys, given that you are well in the hunt for promotion.
Thoughts?

Re: Darren Ferguson
Fergie polorises opinions amongst many on this forum and you've thrown a nice hand grenade into the mix mate. Be careful what you wish for as we've already sacked him twice.
Personally I think our 3 owners will not want to let him go due to us being in 2nd place and with games in hand. If we don't go up? Well now, that's another question

Re: Darren Ferguson
I would think that if Fergie were to leave it would be in an upward direction, not to a pub team.

Now Cove Rangers are in the league, Aberdeen aren’t even the best side in the Granite CityWoody21 wrote: ↑19 Mar 2021, 19:38Very goodbristleposh wrote: ↑19 Mar 2021, 19:15 I would think that if Fergie were to leave it would be in an upward direction, not to a pub team..

Just as well you started with "Aberdeen fan in peace", Woody. Otherwise you would have had bristle implying that your club is hopeless.

In my opinion, Fergie will not leave Posh unless he is asked to by the owners. And that is very unlikely to happen if we get promoted.
Good luck to you and Aberdeen for the future.
As your captain says you "Now need to look forward".

Dons have been awful this season and are usually hard to beat.
Big turnover of players to happen in summer, which should be appealing to a new manager. Especially as Scotland's European coefficient has increased, allowing more teams to qualify for European competition.
Even Bristle may recognise that is not bad going for a "Pub League"
PS hope young Fergie gets you promoted.

Re: Darren Ferguson
I just watched some Scotland supporters on the football show on BBC and they were saying how they were brought up to support Scotland, or whoever was playing England. I have no problem with that I have a similar attitude towards Scotland and Wales, it’s nothing personal it’s just payback.

Re: Darren Ferguson
I believe that's the same Joe Lewis who couldn't get in the team at Cardiff while in the championship
