Bristol Rovers at home

Post by bristleposh »

We’ve got a game tonight, against The Gas. Baldwin possibly play, Oztumer his last game was in their last win six games ago, Liitle not even a sub lately I wonder if both are injured.

I’ll have a guess that the attendance will be declared as zero, so obviously the press, agents and talent scouts don’t count.

Typical me I missed another of our ex players who’ll definitely start tonight Joe Day. According to local reports Little and Oztumer might make the team

Rovers are playing like a team close to the relegation zone.

0-0.
Can't blame "REFEREE: GRAHAM SALISBURY" but Wycliffe might do if he still posted on here.
Gaz and his mates will blame Fergie.
I blame the players and the pitch.
But, we cant win every game we play. We're still on track for automatic promotion.

It makes me laugh how fans have a go at certain players when only half of the game has been played. It is particularly obvious on .net who knock Kanu mercilessly. In the second half he had a good game.

On that basis nobody would get subbed if they had a bad first half.
I thought that was what substitutes were for.
Or are they only for when a player gets injured?

No, any player having a poor half should be given at least ten minutes after half time, then substitute them at that point. Kanu was like a different player in the second 45, and was much improved.

A poor game in quality for 90 minutes. Thommo my Man of the Match, but Dembele and JHC had a night off with 6-7 others.
Never mind we did not lose, just lost the opportunity to move up the table with the other results going our way. The pitch was dreadful.

Didn’t see it last night. Disappointing result at home to a poor team, but at least we didn’t lose.

Makes Saturday very important again. We must make the most of this opportunity in a run against lower placed teams. Fergie needs manager of the month in February

Sorry, my point is that our next TEN games are against opposition outside the top 8. Out of those ten games, only Crewe are 9th & Ipswich 10th. The rest are bottom half. Include Bristol Rovers last night, it makes eleven games on the bounce where we should be really making a statement.

We need to make hay while the sun shines before Hull City ride into town on March 9th.
