Re: Playing Away

Away from home, we’ve played for fifteen hours, and held a lead for 20 minutes. We’ve scored once every three hours, and average just over two shots on target per game – four in our last three games. One of our goals came from a penalty, one was headed in from a free kick, and one came after Marrio...

Re: BLACKBURN ROVERS v POSH

I don't blame Fergie entirely for this as he can only put out a team from what he's got available. I don't like to say it but the vast majority of the players are simply not good enough, plain and simple. When one of the better players, Nathan Thompson, makes an error like last night then you know y...

Re: POSH v HUDDERSFIELD

Mark McKeever and David Billington were certainly highly regarded, enough for Sheffield to pay a million for the two of them before Etherington and Davies moved to Spurs. and Luke Steele who if he hadn't been shipped out too early to Manure would probably have been the best goalkeeper to ever play ...

Re: POSH v HUDDERSFIELD

Jermaine Anderson until his injuries, he was one of the few players to progress and improve under Westley (Conor Washington being another). Anderson now plays for Basildon United, the same level as Yaxley. I saw him play for Aldershot last season and it was sad to see how the two really bad knee inj...

Re: POSH v HUDDERSFIELD

To be called ‘new stadium’ and described as being in the top 5 U20 players seen at Posh is also very ‘impressive’

Tottenham scored 6 & 7 in the last two games of 16/17 season at Leicester & Hull but can’t think of anyone scoring back to back 7s in my lifetime.

Re: Someone who won’t be at Swansea

There’s a big difference Bristle as I’m sure you know. Your bag could contain any number of contraband items which don’t involve a total stranger knowing your medical history/religious beliefs/invasion of your privacy by asking you to show your papers despite not having to do so themselves to demand...

Re: POSH v HUDDERSFIELD

Kent on the bench again, how many goals does Edwards have to give away before Kent is brought back on? Obviously I appreciate it Edwards is played to prop up DMac’s hype of Edwards to try and generate a price, but what’s best, points or potential cash? What a load of tosh, he is our best defender b...

Re: BOURNEMOUTH v POSH KO 7.45 pm

QPR v Bournemouth Boxing Day moved to Dec 27 5.30pm for TV coverage resulting in Bournemouth's game with Cardiff on Weds 29th moving to Thursday 30th and the Posh game moving to the Monday (why not Sunday??) and it's Bournemouth's decision to have it at 7.45pm despite the Monday being a Bank Holiday

Re: SWANSEA v POSH

I suppose the question should be Bristle are Posh capable at playing at the level that Swansea did? If we are then it should be classified as a very poor performance on Saturday. I wasn't there for reasons I've documented, so am asking a genuine question not trying to stir anything up. If we win tom...

Re: Someone who won’t be at Swansea

I won't be there either as I don't live in Nazi Germany or Communist Russia and therefore won't be showing my papers to a total stranger who interestingly doesn't have to do the same in order to demand you show your papers. This is further proof that Welsh clubs shouldn't be in the English leagues

Re: Posh V QPR

The last of JCHs ban, hopefully he is fit enough to get back in the side at Swansea He hasn't scored from open play this season so doesn't warrant a starting place for me bristle. Sammie has scored more goals from open play in 45 mins than JC-H has. To come back for pre-season unfit and overweight ...

Re: HULL CITY v POSH

Hopefully this will prove to be a turning point. It wasn't pretty and in the end we scraped out a win, but in the first 20 minutes we played some great football getting in on the left hand side and if JCH had been playing it would have been a much easier night. Special mention to Josh Magennis thou...
