Re: Retained list

I seem to remember that in 2011 we parted company with James Wesolowski, Chris Whelpdale and Charlie Lee shortly after the Old Trafford triumph, so I expect to see a few heart-tugging departures in the next few days. I don't know any of the circumstances of Gyollai's absence at Doncaster, but if he...

Re: Past and Present Players

Ivan Toney - unless I’ve missed it elsewhere, I haven’t seen him congratulate PBU on their promotion. Given that we kickstarted his career, I wondered if fans were bothered, or too happy in the haze of the drunken hour still? Would have been nice to just get a nod of thanks I feel. Exactly how I fe...

Re: Fergie

I don't think we should aim for 4th from bottom. I think we should aim for mid table at least. Agreed. Whenever you aim for something, you can guarantee that you will never quite get it spot on. One or two either way and you could be in trouble. Mid table gives you that degree of miscalculation! An...

Re: Marcus Maddison

There is no place for Maddison at the Posh next season. Spot on Tony. As Marcus himself says, ".... do I want to play football any more as it just doesn’t bring me any joy at all. I can’t thank Ian Evatt enough for understanding & wish @officialbwfc all the best for the final run in” No me...

Re: Can anyone remember

remember those good old days before political correctness. The trouble with political correctness is that almost any comment, sign, picture, film, action etc. is bound to upset somebody, somewhere. However there are some people who are continually on the lookout to spoil people's fun, if only to ju...

Re: Retained list

I hope I'm wrong, but I think he'll put Reed on the list. No way RJJ will be on it, they have high hopes for him. Gyollai has to go. Eisa will be interesting as they need some money for him but who will spend big on him? I hope you are wrong too as I think Reed would find more space in the Champion...

Re: Can anyone remember

I can’t seem to get information from Google, but, does anybody remember, what I suppose was loosely a racist sketch from either TV or Radio several years ago, where a presenter was being interviewed about a Martian footballer, green, playing for England, the response was about changing times and ho...

Re: POSH v LINCOLN CITY

or someone who realizes it was never a penalty, a view shared by Pym, Fergie & DMac and do you not think the fact that we're debating it means it was a very poor decision Don't let people involved in professional football get in the way - it's the keyboard warriors who know nothing about the ga...

Ideally we wouldn't want to lose either of them, although Dembele would pose more of a threat to Championship sides.

Re: POSH v LINCOLN CITY

it was a shocking decision. One of the worse I've ever seen given. I HAVE SEEN VERY MANY, MANY TIMES WORSE, against us over the years. So have I. Not only in Posh games. And so has Gaz if he's honest. To say that was one of the worst decisions he's ever seen is the sort of comment you might expect ...

Re: Fergie

Like I said on another thread, Dmac, Randy and Jason have got to make the massive call of whether they want us permanently in the Championship or not. IMO it's players that are needed for us to stay up and not shiny new seats in a stadium we'll rarely fill. Depends on your view for long term sustai...
