A defeat in a friendly match... No worried because the most important stay the league.
Bolton has certainly had less moves than POSH. There were lot of moves in and out of players at the POSH. The team has lost his best attacking pair of last season : Maddison and Marriott so the attacking need to be build again and that demand a few time for it. I trust in Evans. I think he has a good idea what he wants to do with team, the kind of play developed and of course the kind of players he needs to do. Maybe the start of season will be tough but after some weeks spent, the team will find the good way to win and win and also the team will be in the race for the promotion at the end of season. It's all I expect and I wish.

Not sure why .net..or anyone else for that matter....are concerned over this game.

Totally irrelevant as to what we can expect in league one this season...The Championship is a different level altogether these days to lower league football

The real test is whether or not, after say a dozen games, me Evans has gelled his squad together sufficiently well that we are in a position to challenge for greatness
Three goals in three games though maybe irrelevant , highlights where our weakness lies

We need a couple of striker's ... That's there for all to see.

Big 11 days for the club, that's for sure.

Blatantly obvious. Unless there is a lot more to come from Godden and Cummins then it was like watching Luke James and Tom Nichols up front. Early days but very worrying all the same.

I thank and I think the Cumming's coming is a very good thing for the club. Obviously the lost of Marriott is tough but I trust in the club to find another striker. The fee earned by the sold of Marriott will be well invested to find another good striker.

And it's necessary to give some time to Godden and Cummings to get repairs in the club on and off the pitch. Be patients. And the level between Championship and League One is very different so don't be worried by the defeat. I'm very confident on this season. There were lot of changes in the team and I think after some weeks, the team will be better and better.

so by that logic, if we do manage to get promotion this season then Evans will have to start all over again next summer & sign another 15 players whilst also selling the entire current squad :? :?
