Next Prime Minister

Post by Gaz_Miller » 10 Jul 2019, 14:53

For some strange reason the thread about Boris Johnson is locked, so I'll start one about the next Prime Minister instead.

Is Johnson determined to fail landing the job which had his name on it?

Proves how totally inept he is.

I do not doubt that he will win (has probably already received more than enough votes?))

it shows just how bad british politics has become

he is probably the best communicator the Tories have had for many years, but his performance the other night showed that he is the best communicator of waffle, of shallowness, of lack of honesty, and a lack of loyalty to anyone but himself

when he becomes prime minister this country will find itself in subservience to the USA

corbyn is no better

Corbyn is no better than Johnson? You are joking right?

Johnson has now proven it's all about him and nothing to do with the people of the country. He'll **** on everybody with less than a million in the bank.

Boris Johnson as PM will put this country back decades.

Corbyn is possibly the worst leader the Labour Party has ever had

He is incapable of ever giving a proper lead on anything.

and is too much in the sway of mccluskey, milner , murphy and others

I do not doubt that Johnson will cause much harm, but nobody should seriously look to Corbyn to put things right

Johnson is a narcissistic shallow self promoter who is not worthy of any trust

Corbyn is useless as a leader and is completely out of his depth surrounded by non democratic “advisers”and not worthy of any trust

I would vote for neither

If you aren't a socialist by the age of twenty you haven't got a heart, if you're not a conservative by the time you're forty you haven't got a brain. I'm guessing both of you are beyond forty but obviously have no brain

I am often misquoted. A lot of people read between the lines and then use the answer as gospel. If you can find my quote again you’ll find I didn’t say he was wrong, I said perhaps he was wrong, leaving the question open to interpretation, you have chosen the underlined version

why would anybody with a brain even think that Wilberforce might be wrong

to my mind, only a racist would think that to abolish slavery was wrong, and racism is clearly stupid

I despair sometimes with peoples interpretations of statements. It’s so easy to call someone a racist. People complain about Tommy Robinson, but no doubt those same people think it’s fine for British Pakistanis to groom, rape and abuse young white girls

If Johnson takes us out the EU "without a deal", then the pound will almost certainly drop a further 10% overnight. This will not be day to day variations but immediately attributable to brexit

It is currently at about 1.26 against the dollar and 1.11 against the euro having already dropped some 15% overnight on june 24 2016 (from 1.32 to about 1.13

Thus on November 1 it will be about 25% down from the pre referendum level

when the clown rees mogg talks about food clothes and shoes being cheaper because of the lack of 15% tariffs, he will conveniently have "forgotten" that we are already 25% down. So these things will be some 10% more expensive against his claim of "cheaper"

as we import around 100 billion from usa and china alone then we are already paying 15 billions more than we would have done had the pound stayed where it was.

this 15 billions completely dwarfs the £9.2 billions that we pay into the EU, and that is just for starters, before we start paying tariffs to import goods from EU

Facts please, not speculation the pound might equally as well rise by 10%, just because the Guardian says it doesn’t make it true

Clown Rees Mogg , the heffalump and fromage havecall been speculating about what will happen

I forecast on this website that the pound would drop not less than ten percent in May 2016 and was proven correct though I understated the figure

I am merely demonstrating the facts that clothes shoes and food are already costing more than Rees mogg has been saying and that the devaluations that already have happened have already outweighed the “cost of say 9 billion”

Worse will come

Nobody can actually point economic benefits of brexit let alone no deal brexit

Everything is whistling in the dark

I forecast on here and on the other board that Boris Johnson would be PM after Theresa May. I was shouted down.
Has it been decided yet?
