Full time Doncaster 1 Accrington 2.
We can still make the playoffs but the goal difference could be a problem.

Be ironic if we lose out to one goal to Doncaster - the one O’Malley gave to them.

Let’s just get the points and see if we have a problem with goal difference

Oxford do us a favour Saturday and we win 7-0 at Walsall we can then afford to lose by the odd goal at Pompey and still be in with a shout

But if we get the points with 1-0 wins it may not be good enough.
I think we should let Fergie know that we need to beat Walsall 7-0 and then see if we have a problem.

It's the hope that kills you!
At least it keeps the season interesting at least another week.
Will be good to go down to the last day of the season and see what happens.

Interesting result last night - Doncaster 1 Accrington 2.

Are Doncaster getting the jitters?

If they are it will be interesting to see how they get on against Oxford on Saturday.
Oxford have nothing to play for other than pride and possibly player bonuses (I have no idea whether that is right).
Our opponent on Saturday, Walsall will consider this a must win game if they are to have any hope of avoiding relegation.
Oxford are second in the form table (last six games), Walsall are 23rd.
So, on paper, we have the easier game.
As someone said earlier. We can still make the playoffs.

To be fair, if we don't beat Walsall then we don't deserve to make the play-offs.

They are in freefall & you couldn't hope for an easier game at this time of season.

Far too simple an observation. To be fair, there is nothing so simple in football, particularly at this stage of the season. Walsall will be desperate to stay up, whether it is the club itself or the players concerned. The players will all be playing for the next year's contract, which will be much reduced if the go down into League Two. Between now and May 4th. I can guarantee you there will be many, many strange results across all divisions. It happens every year!

So you'd sooner be away to Luton on Saturday?

There are lots of 'incidents' like this over a season though. We will just have to do the best we can and hope that the cookie crumbles in our favour!
