Very interesting, sounds like he was a very bright man, I believe Burgess had a degree.
Guy Burgess and Donald Maclean? Clever, shifty damned chaps along with "Kim" Philby and Anthony Blunt - unless you mean Christian Burgess (who earned a BA Hons in History part-time at Teesside University having previously studied History at University of Birmingham before his move to Middlesbrough) and who will be playing against us on Saturday!

Goalscorers instinct (not something you can coach imo) but to be fair he could hardly miss it

True, but he then had the bottle to score his penalty in the penalty lottery.

Kyle Vassell (currently in the Championship with Rotherham) replaces Connor Washington in the Northern Ireland squad.

Vassell seems to have become a better player since leaving Posh. Hs certainly scored more goals.

Tom Conlan. Forgotten man who seemed to have a great future at Posh but mysteriously disappeared for a while. He spent some time at Stevenage and had a loan at Billericay before signing for Vale. The lad scored a scorcher of a free kick yesterday, despite his team getting a 6-2 pasting at home. Home fans seem to think that they have unearthed a gem. I agree with them and rated him highly when he was playing in Posh's youth team. I know that bristle has asked about him in the past. Still only 22 yrs. old and now playing for Port Vale.
