Steve Evans article in the Football League Paper this weekend. Sure it will be entertaining.

As entertaining as the three wins out of three league games he has achieved with his 15 in?

Quite possibly.

We should never forget how brave Uncle Steve was in letting go of McCann's 'top-six squad'.

I have been a long term convert, but the top six side of last season you refer to should have been top six with a better man in charge. It was obvious for some time that those players did not want to play together as a team or for the manager. We did however have to keep supporting them, both the players and the manager, because they were playing for OUR club. Some of the players have moved to where they probably consider they should rightfully be, the Championship, however they couldn't achieve that at Posh for several reasons. Lets not beat around the bush one or two felt they were bigger and better and never tried to play as a team should have done.

Steady on with the anti-GM sentiment there Bristle!

Would be an interesting game. Last season's first-choice XI managed by GM up against yesterday's team managed by SE.

Taff under SE would have no problem dealing with Taff's long balls under GM. Same result as against Luton yesterday? 2-0 down early and the gutless showponies give up?

I still think our team from 60/61 would beat this lot, probably only 1-0 most of them are in their 80s now and some are dead

Nah.

Taff would have had Denny in his pocket....

There will be some panic buying by champo clubs in the next week or so.

QPR for one. They'd be the sort to take MM on a loan to buy for sure.
