But you have to get the cities as well.
If we are allowed to Google there isn't much point in the quiz.

the answers were

1930 Montevideo the winners were Uruquay
1934 Rome the winners were Italy
1966 London England were the winners
1974 Munich the winners were West Germany
1978 Buenos Aires went to Argentina (something to do with the hand of God- but I'm not bitter)
and most recently
1998 at the Stade De France in Paris where the winners were the French

I will try and come up with another question later today

...as they were all capital cities apart from Munich (the capital being Bonn at the time) some guesses should have been easy enough

Q3

"What we've got here is failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach...
So, you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it!
Well, he gets it!
I don't like it any more than you men"

Bristle, that cheating git & his hand happened in 1986 in the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, not 1978. Don’t know how he kept his hand steady with all that dope in his system! I’m not bitter either!

Some of the members will be too young to know.
I saw the film and it stars an actor who my wife and many other women drooled over.
Unless I'm wrong of course.
I'm beginning to like this quiz after all.

True but most women weren't aware of his preferences.
A bit like Rock Hudson.

I think we've had long enough on question 3. The answer as Tony was the only one to come up with the correct answer, it was Cool Hand Luke... Starring my double Paul Newman scoffing a load of boiled eggs.

Are you just trying to be nice to me with a Country Music question?

I can't remember the name of the song yet but I'll rack my brain and search my old records etc.
