As people may know I have been reading the Morse series of books on and off for the last 18 months or so, I read other stuff in between. At the top of each paragraph is a little snippet taken from numerous sources, that loosely explain what is happening in the coming chapter. I'm currently on book 13 "Death Is Now My Neighbour" and came across this little gem at the start of chapter 47:-

Virgil G. Perkins, author of international bestseller Enjoying Jogging (Crown Publications NY, 1992) collapsed and died whilst jogging with a group of fellow enthusiasts in St Paul yesterday. Mr Perkins, aged 26, leaves behind his wife, Beverley, their daughter, Alexis, and seven other children by previous marriages. attributed to the Minnesota Clarion 23 Dec 1995.

Have to say it made I laugh out loud
I started a joke that had the whole world crying
But I didn't see that the joke was on me
