I had a haircut this morning. Ahead of me were two women with seven boys between them. There were three barbers operating but I still had to wait an eternity while the mothers gave directions as to how their boys' hair should be cut. While they weren't talking to the barbers (and holding them up) they were gassing to each other.

That's what you call a moan!

By the way has anybody ever heard of Tree top haircut? That's what three of them had.

Finished with lots of questions, having enjoyed every series of that, The Killing and The Spiral, I look forward to the next offering on BBC 4. There is however a new channel starting, something to do with C4 with lots of Foreign Drama series from across Europe (and beyond)

Don't tell me you acquired her second-hand!
To be fair, I acquired Mrs Lister second hand.

Although she certainly didn't have one careful owner.

Wrong answer. It should have been " watching the Posh".

Why do so many people leave Christmas shopping to the last minute?

I went shopping this morning expecting to see only a few people around.

It was almost impossible to get a park. Queuing at the checkouts. Pushing and shoving everywhere.

Why can't they do their shopping earlier?

:x

It's all a surprise nobody expects Christmas to be on the 25th December, the fact that the stores have been full of festive stuff since September is beside the point. Mind you some stuff you can't but too early as the sell by dates suggest the stuff will be off before the big day. I was disappointed last time I went in the local Asda that they had no Easter eggs available.

It's 3rd January already and nobody has had anything to moan about this year yet.
Maybe 2016 will be the year that nobody on this message board wastes time moaning.
The Brisbane Courier Mail front page on January 1st had the headline "SWEET '16"

I wonder how long it will be before they get back to headlining bad news.

Sweden brings back border checks to stem the flow of illegals. Who better to man (or woman) the checkpoint on the Bridge.
