Did you know
There was a young fellow named Goringe
Who longed to make rhymes using orange.
He quit in despair,
Hung himself in mid-air,
At his home on top of Mt Blorenge

I have watched it, it just doesn't sink in. Did you know Steven Fry has left the programme I believe a female is taking over, probably Sandi Toksvig.

We still get old shows here and no mention has been made of Fry leaving.bristleposh wrote:I have watched it, it just doesn't sink in. Did you know Steven Fry has left the programme I believe a female is taking over, probably Sandi Toksvig.
Sandi Toksvig has been a panelist several times. I'd say she'll make a good host although Fry would have to be a hard act to follow.
I wonder if Alan Davies will stay on. (I wish he'd get a haircut).

As I drink at home most of the time that would mean posting a picture of our living room carpet

They're not cheap (about $27 each) but they're good.

You lot probably won't believe me, but I'm indirectly related to Cromwell; he was a great-great-grandson of a person who was the brother of John Hampton III and he was the brother-in-law of Thomas Ramsey - a direct decendent of me at 17 generations back. My mother did a lot of work on this with over 250 names on the tree, and in fact we have our family tree back to 1350 and a Robert Belknappe who was 'Chief Justice of Common Pleas' prior to 1388 ... it is thought that Belknappe probably came over with William the Conqueror but I can't get any prooof of that unfortunately. Yep, you're talking to somebody who once had important connections, there was also a mayor of Reading in the early 1800s, just seems to have gone downhill since, ha-ha!!!
