IMO that is what is needed instead of all the arguing about whether the is racist or not.
There is no argument IF he is racist or not, he's proven that himself. It's if you support a racist or not - clearly you do.
Read my lips Gaz. I .. am .. not .. a .. racist.
I am saying that it is time for people to unite behind the new PM.
Like it or not he is the PM and we should all hope that he can lead the country in the way he has promised.
Nothing wrong with that at all Tony. Is he capable of doing just that though?

I...don't...want...to...unite...behind...a...racist, sexist, homophobic liar.

Anybody who does is condoning such behaviour.

You are entitled to refuse to support the new Prime Minister Gaz.
But you are not entitled to say that anybody who hopes he will be successful is condoning his "behaviour".
I could be wrong but I find it hard to believe that you could be so simple minded as to not understand that there are some people who would like to see the country get moving under Boris Johnson's leadership despite him not being your personal choice.

Oh, I well believe there are some people right behind Johnson & hoping he's a success.

Problem is, 99% of them are also racist, sexist, homophobic bigots.

If there was another election in America today I'd suspect Trump would scrape in for another term. It's the way the world is going.

Trump, Brexit & now Johnson are giving the far right a platform. It has to be stopped.

There is no ambiguity

he is a proven inveterate liar, he has been sacked three times for lying

he has shown himself to be incompetent. probably the worst Foreign Secretary since the war

he is said to be a good communicator. he communicates his lies well

he is concerned about little other than himself and his own advancement

he has never shown substantial loyalty to any cause other than his own. certainly not to his wife,

he has a second class degree

he was not born in the United Kingdom

he has not been shown to represent well his country, its citizens and its ambassadors

he thinks a pound spent in Scotland is worth less than pound spent in london

I'm surprised the two of you haven't left for Calais already, if you give yourselves a chance to breath you may concentrate on the future not the past.

but each time I have looked to the future , you have told me I am wrong to do so|||

as a student of history I have learnt that by looking at the past you can have a jolly good idea what will happen in the future

your way and the bumbling idiot's way is to whistle in the dark and turn your back on the inevitable

the pound has dropped 1.5 cents since the liar got voted in it now stands at 1.11 to the euro

looking to the future if we leave without a deal on 31 October it will drop a further 10% within 2 days. this is not a speculation it is a certainty.

thus it will have dropped some 25% totally because of brexit.

all my working career I worked with markets and this is such a certainty I imagine the bookies have stopped taking bets

I will always look to the future but will always put it in the context of both the present and the past

Great point. When people stop looking at the past, mistakes are repeated. Losing sight of the past is a very dangerous road for any leader.

Having heard Dominic Raab prattle and lie yesterday on the Today programme , I think it is clear that the only reason that The Great Liar, the worst ever Foreign Secretary, has appointed him is because he knows that Raab will be even worse. I will be amazed if Priti Patel and Raab are both still in post by next Easter

The truth can be boring

Some people prefer the Great Liars lies and fairy stories

They are now spending over 110 millions to brainwash people that no deal is good

It is interesting that a new phrase being parroted by the mindless is the “ undemocratic backstop”

Before long it will be as much quoted as the 350 millions

Keep swallowing the sound bites and slogans and ignore the boring truth
