Although 92k is only a relatively small number to effectively vote a pm. In fact it is many times more than the number who voted for may brown major Callaghan home McMillan Eden Churchill and chamberlain so we can hardly blame Johnson or indeed the tories for such a small electorate

They have followed due process

It may not suit me or many people but it has something (?) of a mandate albeit vv narrow

The fact that the tories went for a celebrity rather than a trustworthy politician says much about the tories

The problem is that the labour membership have also voted in an incompetent leader

In 2007, Boris Johnson said Gordon Brown was not legitimately PM because he wasn’t voted in by the public. He called for an immediate general election.

Will the hypocrite be doing the same now?

Boris Johnson called commonwealth citizens piccaninnies, described women in burqas as bank robbers, called gay men tank-topped bumboys, and said that the problem with Africa is that Britain isn’t in charge anymore. He is a British Trump. #NotMyPM

Boris Johnson was given a rousing reception by Tory MPs at a meeting in Parliament, where he urged them to "unite, unite, unite and win".

I'm supporting his urging to unite.
IMO that is what is needed instead of all the arguing about whether the is racist or not.

There is no argument IF he is racist or not, he's proven that himself. It's if you support a racist or not - clearly you do.

And if you don't read the papers, then you must get your 'ideas' from somewhere.

Same old same old, he's in now get over your petty obsessions, one day people will look upon this day as the best day since the end of WWII.
Anything that keeps Corbyn from getting into Downing Street gets my vote. Who is the biggest racist one who jokes about foreigners or one who openly supports racist behaviour, you accuse TonyP of being a racist for supporting our new PM, yet Cobyn has consistently been supporting racists within his party.
This new young lady in charge of the LibDems, who's name I can't be bothered to check, comes out with the same silly arguments that the old man used to use. Brexit has been voted for, it has been agreed by the electorate why oh why would we want another election, oh I know to give the lazy who couldn't be bothered to vote last time when they had the chance, the majority of Labour supporting areas voted to leave yet their incompetent politicians think it's right to vote against their constituents wishes. This is why they don't deserve support, they're an undemocratic party led by a racist.

I am saying that it is time for people to unite behind the new PM.
Like it or not he is the PM and we should all hope that he can lead the country in the way he has promised.
