Congratulations to ashman on becoming an official moderator!
:clap2: :clap2:

Let's all hope he follows poshnipper's lead and moderates fairly and without favour.

And, as poshnipper does, he advises people who have posts moderated or deleted, why he has done it.

Surely as most of us are middle aged or older, we have been successful at moderating our behaviour, through life's little tapestry, we should be capable of moderating our own behaviour on here

If we think about our posts, it is not beyond our wit to see why some of our posts get deleted

Good luck Ashman, and Nipper,

Firm and fair is what I say
Plymouth to Portsmouth 2017 -2018, that ain't far

Quite right stuie.
But we do need moderators. We can't just moderate our own behaviour.
We can guess why posts are deleted but it is common courtesy for mods to inform the poster of the actual reason.
I post only to this board and the dotnet board.
The mods on there keep threads on subject, for example. As well as deleting inappropriate posts.
We have to think of newcomers, not just ourselves.
Nipper doesn't need good luck , she's doing a great job. I believe that ashman will do the same.
