Nice of our bowlers to finally turn up.

We've got two chances here....

None and very slim.

1/8 them...10/1 us pretty much sums it up.
yup, whats the odds for a draw

You can get 12/1 for a draw. Just put your money on and hope it rains.
Australia are 53 for 4 and the four are very good batsmen. The remaining six cannot be expected to contribute too many if England's bowlers continue to perform well in Adelaide (as I predicted they would).
But Australia's lead is 268.
If Australia don't score any more England will still need to get 269 in their second innings. Plenty of time to do it.
But if Australia manage to get to, say, 120 England will need their all-time highest successful Test chase to win this match.
But, in cricket, anything is possible in theory. And records are there to be broken.
My money is on Australia.

seems like a £1 on the draw and a £1 on an England win pays about 13/2 I wouldn't mind losing £2 on that

There is more chance of Posh playing and beating Villa, than Australia not winning this 2nd test

They had a tv in the room showing soothing videos. I asked them to put the cricket on. They did. Australia all ou!!
Switch it off.

Right now it's England 108 for 3. England require another 247 runs with 7 wickets remaining.
Game on!

Nobody seems to think that sounds a reasonable target. A whole day available!
Maybe Bristle is the only person who thinks it's possible, He has money on it.
A captain's knock from Joe Root could do it.

New ball taken after 80 overs. England need only 148 runs with 3 wickets remaining.
Make that 2 wickets remaining. Starc takes a wicket with his first ball.
About half an hour left in this session.
Bairstow is playing well and Broad has been known to score runs but I really can't see him or Anderson lasting long.

A great Test Match.
Australia won! :clap2: :clap2:
Australia 442/8d and 138

England
227 and 233

No doubt the biggest mistake of theTest was Root fielding first.

The Poms won't have much to say. They all thought the result was a forgone conclusion!!

No interest, not a proper sport. The only games that count between the two nations are played with a funny shaped ball and involve 15 players on each side, and we thrashed the Aussies.
