Australia v England (Rugby League)

Post by tonyp » 26 Oct 2017, 09:57

Rugby League World Cup 2017

The British masses are banking on Wayne Bennett to steer England to World Cup glory in this tournament after taking charge of the old enemy last year.

Bennett’s contract with the England side expires after the World Cup but he said a strong performance from the Poms will likely convince him to continue challenging Mal Meninga.

Wayne Bennett is the Brisbane Broncos coach and is generally accepted as the greatest coach ever,

Mal Meninga is former Queensland and Australia player an has had great success coaching Australia.

Good game coming up.

Not a sport, there are not enough players on the field, we'll be playing your lot next month.

Anyway I thought you supported your home country except when it comes to cricket

We've been much better 2nd half , don't deserve to lose by this margin :(

Workmanlike victory with flashes of excellence.
As the excellent Kevin Sinfield said post match, if we play like that v tonga we'll have enough but against the aussies in the final the errors would have to be massively reduced to stand even a chance.
Out wide however we are lethal.

Worth getting up ridiculously early for though.
