Today, a senior member of the CBI, said todays capitalism is not working

the bases of good capitalism, is that as the tide goes up everybody's boat rises

This is so true

the very rich are abusing others, and as a Tory this really hurts, everybody's boat should be rising, I have said this for many years we are going back to medieval principles

big walls and moats around the privileged. Some of us are lucky to serve these masters, others sit outside the walls

I do not think Jeremey's, Marxism works, but what is the sensible answer

parting thoughts as I head to London, and on to Paris for the weekend
Plymouth to Portsmouth 2017 -2018, that ain't far

"Democracy in a few words. Winston Churchill: "Democracy is the worst form of government, except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time."
It started with a kiss and turned out something else
The blood coursing through my veins, I think of no one else
I never believed in much, but I believe in this
I'm incomplete without you, I'd kill to taste your kiss

Winston Churchill observed that “First we shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us,”
Being happy never goes out of style
