The Aussies recover to scrape past the Windies in a closely fought game. Aussies just about deserved to win but the Windies must have thought they were playing the umps too.

Pretty good game though.

Did anybody see the catch that dismissed Steve Smith?

It amazes me that this competition has run so far without any rain delays.
Of course it had to be Bristol that would ruin it all.

Awesome. The fielding in modern day cricket has become so integral to the outcome of matches. Brilliant coverage by the TV companies too!

I agree, not just in cricket, such a shame some companies miss some of the action whilst showing adverts

Tony will be relieved that the Aussies managed to see off Pakistan in front of a large crowd of the latter's supporters in Taunton. They looked to be heading for a score well in excess of 350 but eventually stuttered to 308 all out after trying too many big shots. Pakistan at times looked to be we well on course to reach the required total but lost vital wickets mid way. Big hitting by the tail set up a Pakistani win but they came up well short in the end.

That sums it up very well Poshay.
We could have scored as many as 400. If Warner had kept going we might have done.
But we are on track to get into the semi-finals.
I just hope we don't meet England in the semis.

If your auntie had b***** she would still be your auntie.
If Warner had kept going we might have scored 400.

According to cricinfo we might get a game today.
"This is unfamiliar territory for all of us. We're actually looking at play happening. We're not getting too far ahead of ourselves, but George Dobell, who's in Southampton today, has just sent in this photo on the way to the Rose Bowl.

"No puddles on the ground, no wipers on windshields". Dare we hope? Dare we...?"

England win the toss and bowl!
Good decision.
Hopefully rain will not affect the result.

Windies 212 all out.
England 112-1 requiring another 101 with 33 overs remaining.
Even rain can't save the Windies now.

Well done England.
Well done Joe Root.
All we need now is to be sure that Australia and England meet in the final.
