AFC Wimbledon are moving back home!

AFC Wimbledon are going home! Momentous day as building work to begin on Plough Lane

It's official - AFC Wimbledon are going home. The club have this morning been granted permission to start building work on a new stadium back at their spiritual home of Plough Lane. Leader of Merton Council Cllr Stephen Alambritis this morning signed the Section 106 Agreement to allow the Dons to start building on the site of their original home. It has been a long and arduous process for the Dons, who have been calling Kingsmeadow their home since forming in 2002.

Pleased for them too.

To be truthful I wasn't too fond of them in their 'hey-day' but after what they've been through I have a much kinder attitude now!

If they get back does that mean the imposters can be kicked out
It started with a kiss and turned out something else
The blood coursing through my veins, I think of no one else
I never believed in much, but I believe in this
I'm incomplete without you, I'd kill to taste your kiss

Good for the original Dons.
The imposters won't get kicked out. Maybe they'll change their name.

Wonderful news for them. I will however miss the day out at Kingsmeadow, a lovely friendly club - and good luck to them too, whatever happens to them. I believe that Chelsea plan to use the stadium, with a capacity of 4800, for their academy and ladies' team matches while funding £2m for Wimbledon's new stadium.

Fantastic news for them, I hope Mr Mawhinney is equally delighted but I doubt he even cares what he did to them all those years ago.
Proper football club who hate the imposters even more than we do or all other proper football fans.

I doubt Mr.Mawhinney made any decision on his OWN.

His decision mate, when he thought it was going to be a popular decision he was happy to be interviewed etc.
Soon disappeared when proper football fans showed their feelings.
Just 'cos he's a tory doesn't excuse him mate.
