Not football betting related, but have you seen the Kammy Ladbrokes advert for the darts, if you look at the odds boost it goes from 4/9 to 5/11 that doesn't work does it

It's a marginally different price but it's still a garbage offer. It's 0.44 to one boosted to 0.45 to 1. Pathetic.

Any lolcelebrity that accepts a gig advertising a bookmaker should be ashamed. If they're not, they need to do some research into how bookmakers operate these days. And then feel ashamed.

That goes for you too Ray Winstone.

Ladbrokes used to have the best reputation back in the day when they employed decent odds compilers but those days are long gone.

All betting shops are now only open to house FOBTs. End of. Those things are pure poison. You can't get a decent bet on in a shop any more.

And you'll do well to find a single member of staff who knows how to work out bets manually, or basically has a clue about anything.

A mate told me to back Davood for Strictly around the time we played away at Donny. I went in a Paddy Power in Doncaster and asked if they could get me a price on Strictly Come Dancing. Mateyboy behind the counter genuinely asked "Do you know where it's running?".

my bad, I hadn't decimalised it, I just looked at it and thought it looked worse not better.

Mateyboy behind the counter was obviously joking. You weren't smart enough to spot the joke.
Mateyboy said to Chompy, 'I put £20 on a horse last week and he came in at twenty five to one.', 'Wow! you must be loaded', said Chompy. 'Not really' said Mateyboy, 'the rest of the field came in at twelve thirty.'

Just started my journey on matched betting, using qualifying bets and free bets

anybody else do this, I am at present using coral, William hill and betfair

been doing it for a week, and from an initial £80 outlay have made a £35 profit, all online with 1 bet a day

would love to hear others view, especially Chompy

He may well have done a hammy and you're right to pull me up on it, but he does have a 'sicknote' reputation, albeit I can't disclose my source.

Did I do the right thing, as it feels like I wasted a £1, having had £2 on The draw at 8/1 and a pound on Basle at 14/1 I thought with 4 minutes to go a £1 bet at 500/1 Man City was worth the risk. What would you have done Chompy

If it feels right at the time and you didn't feel annoyed about it afterwards, then you did the right thing.

I'm one of life's natural traders, always being happy to lock down a profit when it's there.

Never use the cash-out facility, though, it's terrible.

I have used the cash out facility on occasion and have been proved right more than once.
I normally do it if it's the last leg, I have a profit and the final team is only one goal up.
As far as the Man City one I would certainly have felt sick had I not done it and they'd come back. I should have done it when Posh played Charlton and they were 80/1 going into added time for the draw.

I put an entry in Gold Lotto last week and won $25. I could have used the winnings to buy entries in a new game but I took the money.
Is that the cash out facility?

As we know the original football betting thread was chopped. Ridic but there you go.

Anyway, well done to anyone who backed Marriott to score 20+ league goals at 6-1, or to those who backed him at 33-1 to be L1 top scorer (40-1 was there with Ladbrokes).

Job's a good'un.

I haven't completely given up on us scoring 80+ league goals, although we'll need to get a shift on.

Still, always got those lovely 33-1 tickets about Man City scoring 100+ to fall back on (<<<< extreme aftertiming alert).
