Reading

Post by tonyp » 14 May 2017, 11:05

Reading play Fulham in the second leg of the Championship play-off semi-final on Tuesday.
The game stands at 1-1 after the first leg. The winner will play the winner of the other semi-final ( Huddersfield or Sheffield Wednesday) and will be promoted to the Premier League.
I do think that to show our support of daib0 we should all be shouting for Reading.
Come on Reading!

I was expecting a win for Fulham yesterday, but was pleased with the result and performance from Reading.
I am expecting - and hoping for - a Sheffield Wednesday win today!

Im of the opposite view, I hope the Terriers can emulate near neighbours from Happy Valley and win their playoff. Shaymen won theirs yesterday.

I think the final is going to be an even tougher game than the semi finals were.
But Reading can do it!!
By the way dunc, it's daib0. That last letter is a zero not an o.

yep, it's a number 0, but it doesn't matter too much.

Now Reading has the Chinese takeover confirmed as well. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/39947420
actually, there have been behind the scenes negotiations dragging on for months.
Let's hope they don't do a runner like the Zingarevich guy last time in Premier - mind you, his wife was/is an absolute stunner!!

Yes it's only when they play against Posh in playoff games they seem to come unstuck!
(except, of course during their unbeaten league campaign - including Old Trafford)
My favourite is still the second leg sem-final at their place, after they had "got the hard work done" at London Road.

Can't say I'm gutted like after Swansea in 2011 (was it?!); sort of didn't expect it this season. Jaap Stam said he had a three year plan and we almost arrived (too) soon.

We'll be there sooner or later again ...

Terriers scrape through on pens. I cant see them scaring many Premier teams though. Mind you Im no judge ; i didnt rate Dennis Law when he came to Leeds Rd.

Huddersfield in the top flight ..... just.
At least we'll have something to laugh at next season.

Hard luck daib0. Horrible way to stay as you are.
We go again...

I wanted Reading to win, but no matter the following season we could be playing Huddersfield again.
