Leyton Orient v Doncaster Rovers

Postby tonyp » 18 Mar 2017, 08:35

From the Doncaster Official site -
Darren Ferguson has urged his Rovers side to maintain their high standards as they travel to face Leyton Orient this weekend.

The O’s sit rock bottom of the EFL having won just two games since the turn of the year, but Ferguson is expecting a difficult encounter.

“They could be in a position where they see it as a game where they’ve got nothing to lose. They’re not in good form, we are, but there are no guarantees in this division,” he said.

“We had a meeting with the players and told the players that we can’t afford any complacency against Leyton Orient.

From the Leyton Orient Official site
Orient manager Danny Webb believes the O's need to get back to putting in wholehearted performances when hosting Doncaster Rovers tomorrow.

The O's prop up the League Two table after Tuesday's defeat at Accrington and while being bitterly disappointed with the showing at the Wham Stadium, Webb is keen for his side to get back to the way they had been playing prior to the midweek loss.

Should be a good game!!

How many times have we seen the bottom side beat the top side in league matches, seems to happen all the time. Certainly did when Posh were bottom of the Championship and playing Cardiff, twice, Cardiff went up as champions Posh went down having lost twice to bottom club Bristol City
