Rather sad. He over achieved last season & made a rod for his own back.

Comes across as a very nice man. The players need to look at themselves. He was probably too loyal to several of them.

Hope he gets another job before too long.

Crazy....Just 9 months after landing the title.

Thought he earned the right to try and get them out of trouble.

I hope they get relegated now.

Another professional proper manager on the 'Old King Cole' I have no doubt DaveL will tell us there is a reason why he is out of work, obviously winning a Premier title and reaching the knock out stages of the Champions League is nowhere near good enough. Having got Bristol City promoted I have no doubt Junior Johnson will soon be casting an eye over the situations vacant column too.

Reports reaching sky news suggest Raneiri was sacked by player power, apparently senior players met with the board of directors prior to the Sevilla game.
