two points dropped?...a point gained more like. he set his team up to defend and not to lose the game. it was effective but for a team playing at home, almost negative. he would be delighted with a point if he was honest.

"mutual consent" my arse...he was sacked both times.

Joe Lewis is the best in Scotland
According to Rob Maclean BBC Scotland
There can't be any doubt about it. Joe Lewis is the best goalkeeper in Scottish football.

29 years old and still has, in goalkeeping terms, plenty left of his career.

Definitely.
And Rob Maclean went on to say-
His saves in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Hearts at Murrayfield maintained Aberdeen's unbeaten start to the league season.

A couple of big Joe's stops were stunning. The expressions on the faces of denied Jambos pair Jamie Walker and Isma Goncalves told the story.

But it's his consistency of top-level performance which, for me, makes him the best of the bunch.

How many major mistakes can you remember Lewis making in the year or so he's been at Pittodrie? No, they're not exactly screaming out at me either.

Terrifically unlucky at Posh in that he had to follow Mark Tyler.

That being said, being called the best keeper in Scotland is a bit like beating a one legged man in an arse kicking contest.

Tom Nichols missed a penalty at Sixfields today, bringing him to a total of no goals in fifteen appearances for Bristol Rovers this season. Rovers didn't have much trouble scoring, though, rattling in six unanswered goals against the team which beat us on Tuesday.

Conor Washington
Ian Holloway hails 'magnificent' former Peterborough striker after Wolves finish.
He said: "Conor was magnificent, absolutely. He started running around, moving, he’ll go on the left, he’ll go on the right and hallelujah. All of my front three normally score, and that’s what I keep telling him. I’m delighted for him.
