Cameron says the Scots get to keep Barnett if they vote NO. That'll certainly save the Union.

I wonder what Conor Washington's level is.

Joe Day apparently played a blinder in keeping a clean sheet for Newport against Tranmere. Day is now reunited with Justin Edinburgh, his former manager at R&D, so it looks as if the loan move will be at least extended, and probably made permanent in duer course.

yeah but have you seen it?

An Oxford [ correction: ACCRINGTON] defender on the edge of the box played a sh*t passback to the keeper. Barnett was still lurking more or less behind/at the side of the keeper and was able to nip the ball first and side-foot it into an empty net.

(f/f to 0:53 secs)

Good work - but nothing to make them think they've found a real hot-shot striker.

Boydy starts while Tomlin warms the bench - hope he's enjoying himself.

Ooops! Accrington defender - corrected now, thanks.

The main point I was making is that Oxford haven't found the hot-shot striker they were hoping for. And their fans are slowly starting to realise it.

Anyway, it's not exactly good news for us because if he doesn't liven up Oxford will dump him back here :(

Tomlin started for Middsbro at Anfield tonight and was his usual mixed bag, wandering around pretending to mark but sending Clayton (another one-time Poshie loanee) through on goal with an exquisite reverse ball -Clayton hit the woodwork. Subbed in extra time and therefore unable to participate in pen shootout - every player took part but Adomah missed second time around ,14-13 to Liverpool.
