For dummies like me could you explain what you mean by that, please?

If you bet on betfair you can bet on the outcome to win, or you can act as bookmaker and 'lay' the odds for others to bet against you. If their price has shortened considerably you can be in a win win situation.

Do you honestly believe I understand that?
I thought you might have meant that you can get your money back if you changed your mind.

Well that proves two things.
I should continue to forget about gambling.
You should stop trying to explain things.

You can do that on Betfair of course. As long as you don't have a lumpy Premium Charge.

Pirates are the interesting ones. If they spend big they'll obviously go well, esp having kept their manager,

Bury 50/1
Oldham 50/1
Southend 50/1
Fleetwood 50/1
Shrewsbury 50/1
AFC Wimbledon 50/1
Port Vale 66/1

It's far too early to consider having a bet as none of us know what will happen in the transfer market

Millwall are never far away in this division and if they can keep their best players, should go close.

As could Oxford.

In some ways you're right but that's part of the fun of ante-post betting. If Brizzle go out and spend £10m, they'll be pushing single figures come August. Don't see them doing so though tbh.

It can be fun yes, as you can get on at fancy prices.

It can also be frustrating. ..Like the bloke who had a 33/1 voucher on the second favourite for the oaks, only for it to pull up lame and be withdrawn from the race two weeks ago!

Man U top 4 finish was 4/9 which I think is a stick on. Not been well lately and haven't been following things, hope to get my antepost in place shortly but not done any proper research.

I've backed Spurs to finish bottom half as a possible trade at 33s.

Think the horrible give-up at the end of last season and the Euro lolwork of a few key players will have an effect early.

Defo got an outside chance of they get some injuries and the rest of the league improve. Looking for a couple of lower league suggestions at more likely odds. Chesterfield bottom half last year was an absolute steal, placed due to advice on here.

Northampton to finish in bottom half of League 1
Blackpool to finish in bottom half of League 2
Don't know the odds. But at least you'd have a good chance of winning.
