There is never a debate where you're concerned, if it doesn't fit your anti-Fergusson pro-Evans agenda there is no argument. I don't expect the way we are playing that we will get much before the end of August, but I hope I'll be proven wrong. It is not the manager's fault if he selects a side that should be perfectly capable of winning games to go on the pitch and not give 100% . In the two games (I've watched 1.5 of on iFollow) the defence has given away pointless free kicks in dangerous areas, a manager can not be blamed for players stupidity.
For the record, I'm not pro-Evans but I think he's a better football manager than who we've currently got. It doesn't take Evans long to find work, whereas our incumbent is reliant on Darragh to find him a job.

My preference would have been McCann, maybe for ten plus years. Should have let him do a Alex Ferguson or Arsene Wenger & just let him build a championship squad over the years. I doubt we'll find a better manager anywhere.

Next, IT IS the managers fault if the players don't give 100%. That's his primary job, motivation. It doesn't matter if you're managing Man City or Holbeach Utd, you HAVE to be able to motivate your players.

Fair call. I'll judge for myself this Saturday.

I'm not hopeful.
