I have finally selected my team for this one, a natural in every position, included those you could not possibly leave out, strong in defense intensely competitive in midfield and fast and incisive up front, trouble is I have a team of 16!

Good luck to Fergie finding the right 11

On paper(yes I know) the best squad in donkeys years.
:stupid: I just hope that the club's officials can manage to keep all the players honest and not let them get wound up if they are denied a starting place. I agree that Fergie is now the man under pressure to pick, manage and keep his very good looking squad together - not the easiest job in the world. You only need one bad apple to upset the applecart and then selecting your best team really shows just how good your man management skills are. Good luck Darren!

What’s Ferguson’s record since he came back?

What, with Evans players? Didnt Evans say to judge him once he'd signed his own?

Extremely disappointing result given all the hype of record signings etc.

Very early days but I have to say I wasn’t happy Ferguson came back after his last disaster & he’s doing nothing to convince me he’s the man.

Yet again, Fergie was out thought on tactics. Fleetwood's industrial, pressing tactics weren't a surprise, but Fergie seems to need an hour to react.. :|

Nothing to do with tictacs! It was individual errors that caused that!

Was you pleased with the ‘style’ of football on show again?

I’ve heard it was total hoof & hope.

No, I was not pleased and as you say it was hoof and hope, particularly from Kent. Just doesn't add up as all the pre-season games were played in an entirely different manner. Nervous debuts?? Maybe if you attended games you would be more able to comment.

I watched most of it on iFollow thank goodness for Maddison and Toney. Dembele and Ward did Okay as did Woodyard. Beevers had a mare. Baldwin sorry Kent showed his real class and Mason gave away the free kick that put out the lights on the bright side we are still 12 points off the bottom and the only way is up. Surely Naismith Knight and Tasdemir have to get a look in. If Pym was the answer what on earth was the question

First game of season I’ve missed for years & today was because of an event booked nine months ago.
Don’t start the “I’m a better fan” rhetoric & concentrate on the obvious problems. Pre season proves nothing, this was the real test. Fergie failed again
