In Wetherspoons in Exeter once I was offered a glass of Pims for £3-50 or £10 for a pitcher I had to decline having my photo taken I just wanted a drink

New goalie too
24 year old Christy Pym
"Manager Darren Ferguson has made his fifth signing of the summer with the arrival of highly-rated goalkeeper.
Peterborough United have beaten off competition from a host of clubs to secure the services of highly-rated goalkeeper Christy Pym on a three-year contract with his deal kicking in on 1st July following his departure from Sky Bet League Two side Exeter City."
Being happy never goes out of style

'Manager Darren Ferguson has made his fifth signing of the summer with the arrival of highly-rated goalkeeper'

Who's the 5th? Thought it was only 4

Pym, Beevers, Blake-Tracy & the kid from Flyde, or does Blake-Tracy count as two coz he has two names

No disrespect, but why is it looking good?

Unless you've seen the players we've signed on a regular basis you can have no idea what they're like.

At the moment, we have signed five lower league players - that's it.

None taken, I just go by what others say. Last season I thought we'd cracked it when we signed all those players, but I was wrong as I generally am. The difference this year to the last, is that the chap who is doing the signing has a better track record of picking up the cream from the lower levels.

Whoa, hang on. The chap doing the signing has a dreadful record of signing players.

He's ONLY been successful when he's inheirited a good team/squad.

Whelpdale, Keats, Charlie Lee, Joe Lewis, Paul Coutts, Sergio Torres, Tommy Rowe, Gabby Zak, weren’t too shabby certainly better than the majority of Evans signings. There have been many others.
