I don't understand this rush to get players back, there have not been many successful returns. I saw someone on Twitter suggesting McGee,

Well at least you would probably notice Leo or Danny! Wasn't Tommy tarred with the 'invisible man' epithet?

I'd prefer Ricardo back, if he's not injured still

Yeah.

Huddersfield didn't see him.

Telegraph links Posh with Dan Butler (Newport left back) Regan Poole (Manchester United centre back) Jay Lynch (AFC Flyde goalkeeper) and Mark Beevers (Bolton centre back).

Same article does mention Tommy Rowe and Danny Andrew........

Anyone fancy a third helping of Martin Samuelsen? He's been on loan at VVV Venlo in Holland this season.

Unlike Joe Lewis, Chris Forrester hasn't thrived at Aberdeen: he doesn't seem to have featured for their first team in 2019 -- though I don't know if that is injury-related. I believe his sister passed away suddenly last year. Aberdeen fans had been vastly unimpressed by what little they saw of him, deeming him uninterested in even making an effort on the pitch.

If we were interested in a loan deal (we usually are, official disclaimers notwithstanding), we might inquire of Celtic about the availability of Siriki Dembele's younger brother, Karamoko. He's only sixteen, and is on the small side, but he's very highly thought of at the club. Celtic may not want to send him away from Parkhead yet, and would have been unlikely to have entrusted him to the tender mercies of Hoops-minded Steve Evans. The managerial change and the sibling connection might help.

Another Celtic teenager worth consideration is Ewan Henderson. Celtic loaned out his older brother, Liam -- currently playing in Italy -- a few times. (Their father, Nicky, was also a professional footballer.)

A few years ago, Celtic sent Callum McGregor as a teenager on a season-long loan to (then) League One Notts County. He's now an integral member of their first team.

No loan signings this year according to DMac.
